José Ignacio Garcia: Building a Bright Future in Electrical Engineering

José Ignacio Garcia’s ambition is fueled by unstoppable drive. After moving to the U.S. from Mexico at 14, he has consistently pursued his passions and embraced every opportunity. His dedication to school, sports, and coaching paved the way for his success as a Testing Technician with EPC Services Company.

José’s story goes beyond his personal achievements; it’s about inspiring and supporting others. As a first-generation college graduate, he is passionate about giving back to the community and empowering students from underrepresented backgrounds.

José is currently working toward completing his Electrical Engineering degree at Oregon Tech, with a goal to finish his remaining classes in spring 2025. In the meantime, he has become a valued full-time member of our team.

“I am grateful to be part of the EPCS team where everyone gets along so well. It’s truly been a blessing to grow here and call EPCS my home. Once I got my foot into EPCS, it was such a fulfilling feeling—I knew extraordinary success happens both on and off the substation.

I’m so passionate about what I’m currently doing as a Field Tester. I always tell my family how grateful I am to have such an incredible opportunity, where I look forward to every morning to continue growing as a future Electrical Field Test Engineer.”
