Assistant Project Manager – Salt Lake City

This position will serve as an assistant project manager for the Manager of Land Services and land services project managers.  Responsibilities will include but are not limited to assisting the project manager in the execution of the management plan for assigned projects; helping coordinate and manage the project from inception to completion; carrying out daily operational tasks in an effective and timely manner; facilitating communications between office and field staff; tracking and directly reporting project status updates to project manager(s); organizing, filing, and maintaining all current project documents; entering information into and managing the digital project databases; assisting in ensuring compliance with necessary project specifications; helping create, manage, and maintain the project budget; coordinating and executing daily administrative tasks; scheduling and confirming deliveries to field staff; helping create and adhere to project timeline and calendar; consulting with and gathering information from technicians, engineers, contractors, etc.; ensuring project adheres to a set schedule and is meeting the goals of the client; assisting in creating and tracking bids and proposals; assisting in tracking updating clients on change orders.

Minimum Requirements:  2+ years of related experience of administrative duties. The ability to track multiple activities and pay close attention to detail and final work product quality are important. Strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required; skills testing may be administered at the time of interview. Proven effective verbal and written communication skills, proven excellent level of interpersonal skills, ability to work individually and on a team, ability to work with confidential information, and attention to detail required. Successful applicant must be accurate at typing, have strong word processing skills, and be adept at learning computer software. The successful applicant must be able to be present in the office during normal business hours. Successful applicant may be subject to client mandated drug and background checking. Occasional travel/driving may be required.  Successful applicant is subject to ECI’s auto insurance carrier requirements.  Successful applicant must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
