CADD Drafter

Pearl City, HI

Work includes drawings of general arrangements, structures, facilities, site plans, facility layouts, electrical schematics, wiring and connection requirements.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Performing drafting work, manually or by use of a computer requiring knowledge and skills in drafting methods, procedures and techniques
  • Preparing as-built drawings from red-line copies
  • Preparing revisions of pre-existing CADD files through completing minor modifications and pick-ups
  • Performing a variety of assignments under direct supervision of a designer which may include drawing reproduction, handling material supplies, miscellaneous drafting, document handling, assembly of plan and similar work

Minimum Requirements: An accredited associate degree in drafting technology or equivalent required.  Successful candidate must have the following: demonstrated ability to produce project work regularly and consistently with accuracy and within budget and time allocation; knowledge of and skilled in the operation of MicroStation (AutoCAD experience also preferred but not required); capability of working from sketches and models from verbal directions; ability to independently resolve most problems encountered in the preparation of plans including those of intent, consistency and approach.  Successful applicant must meet ECI’s auto insurance carrier requirements.  Successful applicant may be subject to client mandated drug and background checking. Successful applicant must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
