CADD Drafter – Renewable Energy

Billings, MT

The successful candidate will be integral to a design team and be responsible for CADD drafting and design support associated with the creation of renewable energy design packages.

This position will encompass a variety of 2D and 3D CAD drafting assignments including development of drawing plans and bill of materials for wind, solar and energy storage projects based on guidance from the project engineer.  Responsibilities also include performing redlines, miscellaneous design tasks and project support tasks as directed by the supervisor.  Occasional drafting support to other project teams and disciplines within the company will be required.

Minimum Requirements: An accredited associate degree in drafting technology or equivalent required; excellent communication, organizational and writing skills a must.  Must be proficient in AutoCAD or MicroStation and possess a strong computer aptitude in a Windows environment.  Qualified candidate must demonstrate a desire to learn and excel in design drafting and must work effectively and cooperatively within a team environment. Experience with AutoDesk Inventor a plus.  The successful applicant may be subject to client mandated drug and background checking. Occasional travel/driving will be required. Successful applicant is subject to ECI’s auto insurance carrier requirements. Applicants must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future.
