This position will encompass a variety of CAD drafting assignments including development of transmission and distribution line plan and profiles, structure details, foundation details, bill of materials, staking sheets, and phasing diagrams, based on guidance from the project engineer.  Occasional drafting support to other design departments is anticipated.

Minimum Requirements: An accredited associate degree in drafting technology or equivalent required; excellent communication, organizational and writing skills a must.  Must be proficient in AutoCAD or MicroStation and possess a strong computer aptitude in a Windows environment.  Qualified candidate must demonstrate a desire to learn and excel in design drafting and must work effectively and cooperatively within a team environment. Experience with AutoDesk Inventor a plus.  The successful applicant may be subject to client mandated drug and background checking. Occasional travel/driving will be required. Successful applicant is subject to ECI’s auto insurance carrier requirements. Applicants must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future.
