This position will encompass a variety of CAD drafting and civil design assignments in support of high voltage electrical substations and renewable Solar and Energy Storage projects. Assignments may include, but not limited to development of site grading plans and details through use of AutoCAD Civil 3D, design and detail foundations and structures supporting substation projects.
Minimum Requirements: An accredited associate degree in drafting technology or equivalent required; excellent communication, organizational and writing skills a must. Must be proficient in AutoCAD or MicroStation and possess a strong computer aptitude in a Windows environment. Qualified candidate must demonstrate a desire to learn and excel in design drafting and must work effectively and cooperatively within a team environment. Experience with AutoDesk Inventor a plus. The successful applicant may be subject to client mandated drug and background checking. Occasional travel/driving will be required. Successful applicant is subject to ECI’s auto insurance carrier requirements. Applicants must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future.
