Document Control Specialist

Cumberland, ME

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Multitask with attention to detail, be self-directed and able to work independently.
  • Solve problems and perform a range of document control and administrative assignments.
  • Anticipate responsibilities and take appropriate initiative to pro-actively resolve.
  • Define and manage a document control system.
  • Organize and audit drawings, procedures, and other documents under revision control.
  • Prepare Submittal, Transmittal and Requests for Information documents.
  • Effectively communicate via email and phone.

Minimum Requirements: Associate degree in Business or related field; strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); proficiency in Document Management Systems (such as ProjectWise or SharePoint); excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organization and planning skills; commitment to quality and accuracy.  The successful applicant may be subject to client-mandated drug and background checking.  Occasional travel/driving is required; therefore, the successful applicant will be subject to ECI’s auto insurance carrier requirements.  Applicants must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future.
