Project Managers

This position is a professional project management position for individuals with strong skills related to the proactive and effective management of the construction for high/medium-voltage power delivery projects.

The position of project manager and senior project manager is an essential role in the organization. It provides critical leadership and management in the execution of Engineering, Procurement and Construction turnkey projects (EPC). Its functions include program management for large clients, EPC project schedule management, scope definition and change management, management of structured project communications, project financial controls, bidding/proposal responses, procurement/purchasing, safety management, direction of field construction, general administration and training/mentoring of project managers and assistant project managers. This position typically reports directly to the branch manager however, they may be reporting to the general manager, vice president or president directly depending on the client and the project that they are managing. Assistant project managers and project managers may be assigned to work with a Senior Project Manager depending on the program or project requirements.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or post graduate preferred; 7+ years direct experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; detailed understanding of high & medium voltage electrical transmission/substation/distribution systems, excellent organizational skills; strong written and verbal communication skills; working knowledge of a variety of computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), SharePoint and ftp protocol software preferred; occasional travel; driving (ability to be insured to drive company vehicles). The successful applicant will be subject to client-mandated drug and background checking and is subject to EPC Services Company’s auto insurance carrier requirements.
