Project Surveyor

Raleigh, NC

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serving as independent functioning Survey Field Crew Chief.
  • Calculating survey staking points from engineering and construction drawings and specifications.
  • Utilizing AutoCAD or Microstation to convert field data into deliverables to be used during the design process.
  • Interpreting historical survey data, property deeds and other title information, along with other evidence to establish parcel boundary lines and landnets to be used in design and easement creation.
  • Utilizing survey data collectors to operate survey instrumentation for collecting data for platmaking, construction, land and other surveys.
  • Coordinating and communicating with engineering and construction team members.

Minimum Requirements:  Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, 5 years’ related experience in the survey field working under the direction of a Professional Land Surveyor, or equivalent combination of education and experience.   Professional Land Surveyor Licenses preferred but not required.   Successful applicant should be on the  path to licensure required if not currently licensed (FLS exam passed or scheduled, etc.).  CST Certification also preferred if not licensed.  Successful applicant may be subject to client mandated drug and background checking. Travel and driving will be required.  Successful applicant is subject to ECI’s auto insurance carrier requirements.  Applicants must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future.
