Survey Technician

Woods Cross, UT

This position will assist licensed surveyors and senior crew chiefs in setting survey points and collecting survey data.  Responsibilities will include both field and office survey work along with extensive travel away from the office to perform this work.  Work in inclement weather conditions, and over rough terrain will be required.  Work will include set survey stakes, and operating Topcon and Trimble survey equipment along with running the terrestrial LiDAR Scanner and Ground Penetrating Radar.  Work will also require extended out of town travel as is required to meet client needs.

Minimum Requirements:  Successful candidates must have a good work ethic, good computer skills, and be self-motivated.  Candidates must be available for regular overnight and out-of-town travel.  Successful candidate must be able to carry up to 50 lbs. of survey equipment and supplies for long durations over rough terrain.  Total stations and data collection experience preferred but not required.  Knowledge of cadastral, boundary, and forensic surveying, good working knowledge of GPS, and CAD and/or MicroStation experience preferred.  Successful applicant may be subject to client mandated drug and background checking. Travel and driving will be required.  Successful applicant is subject to ECI’s auto insurance carrier requirements.  Successful applicant must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
