Transmission Design Engineer

Woods Cross, UT

The successful candidate will work under the direction of a licensed professional engineer in the transmission line engineering group to develop design calculations, drawings, specifications, and other documents for the construction of power line facilities. Specific responsibilities include developing project scope documents, creating transmission line designs using PLS-CADD software, developing loading, framing, assembly and plan & profile drawings, creating staking sheets, sag charts, and other construction tables, creating material and construction specifications, and performing other design tasks as needed. Occasional travel is required.

Minimum Requirements: BSCE or MSCE (emphasis in structural engineering preferred); excellent communication skills (verbal and written); ability to work in a team environment; attention to detail; and a willingness to meet fast-paced project schedules.
