This position will be responsible for the design of overhead and underground transmission and distribution lines. Specific duties include but are not limited to preliminary engineering and budgetary cost estimates; complete PLS-CADD based transmission designs; directing drafters and designers in the development of construction documents; preparation and review of design specifications and preparation of detailed design calculations.

Minimum Requirements: BSCE or MSCE and 6+ years’ experience in transmission line design engineering; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organization and planning skills; ability to work in a team environment; commitment to quality and accuracy; a willingness to meet fast-paced project schedules.  A commitment to progress towards PE licensure is encouraged.  The successful applicant must have fundamental knowledge of transmission engineering principals and applicable codes and standards. The successful applicant may be subject to client-mandated drug and background checking. Occasional travel/driving is required; therefore, the successful applicant will be subject to ECI’s auto insurance carrier requirements.  Applicants must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future.
