  • Complete design of 30 MW BESS addition to Blue Summit Wind.
  • Additionally designed all substation upgrades to interconnect the new BESS.

ECI designed all components of the addition of a 30 MW/15 MWh battery storage addition and subsequent interconnection to the existing Blue Summit Wind Project Substation. Blue Summit Wind is a large, 135 MW wind farm located in northern Texas. In addition to the design of the battery storage system, ECI designed all required substation upgrades to interconnect the BESS and substation together. This interconnection was accomplished with thirteen (13) Samsung Battery Systems housed in separate Sabre Containers and Eaton inverters.
