ECI designed a 400MW/4hr BESS system using 459 CATL 306Ah EnerC Liquid Cooled Battery Containers with 116 Power Electronics FP4200M Power Converters. System included the design of Auxiliary equipment including (16) 1500kVA transformers and (16) 2000A main Lake Shore Electric Switchboards.
The complete project included a 34.5-230 kV Collection Substation with a 4 position 230 kV straight bus
(3 transformers, 1 Line), two 195 MVA 230-34.5 kV GSUs, one 90MVA 230-34.5 kV GSU, and three 34.5 kV collection bays each with two breakers.
