Kevin Freeman, J.D.

Mr. Kevin Freeman, J.D., has been the cornerstone of ECI’s legal team as General Counsel since December 2016, playing a critical role in protecting our company’s interests. With his responsibilities broadening, Kevin has stepped into the role of Chief Legal Officer, where he will have increased engagement with our executive leadership and Board of Directors, guiding our company’s strategic direction.

Mr. Michael Heikens, P.E

Mr. Michael Heikens, P.E., has been appointed Principal at ECI, a testament to his 17 years of unwavering commitment, exceptional performance, and alignment with ECI’s values and success. As a Board of Directors member and key executive team player, Mike will participate in the highest echelons of company governance and continue to guide our transmission engineering projects nationwide.

Ms. Crystal Kuntz, P.E., MBA

Ms. Crystal Kuntz, P.E., MBA, has been promoted to Associate Principal in recognition of her significant impact on marketing, business development, and client relations. In her new role, Crystal will spearhead the development of innovative marketing strategies and tools to propel ECI forward. She will also continue to harness her extensive technological expertise and insights to drive organizational success.

Mr. Jesse Markham, P.E., MBA

Mr. Jesse Markham, P.E., MBA, is broadening his scope of work as the GIS and STATCOM Technical Liaison, offering his expertise to ECI and EPC Services during the proposal, development, and engineering stages of projects involving gas insulated substations and STATCOM technology. Additionally, Jesse is enhancing his role in cultivating client relationships and development for key clients in the southeast region.

Mr. Bart Tschacher, P.E.

Mr. Bart Tschacher, P.E., has been appointed as Associate Principal and Director – EPC Utility Project Engineering, reflecting his exceptional technical acumen and leadership capabilities. As Director, Bart will collaborate closely with the President to identify and pursue EC opportunities, delegate support teams, oversee bid strategies and reviews, manage early-stage designs, maintain client relationships, and undertake special projects vital to the Company.
