Description: Under the direct supervision of a professional engineer, the successful candidate will perform detailed civil design for transmission lines through 500 kV; develop sophisticated finite element models of transmission lines using industry specific software tools; wood, concrete and steel structure design; foundation design including drilled piers, slabs, spread footers and other unique foundation systems; prepare material specifications; and prepare construction drawings and specifications. Occasional travel required.
Minimum Requirements: BSCE or MSCE (emphasis in structural engineering preferred); excellent communication skills (verbal and written); ability to work in a team environment; attention to detail; and a willingness to meet fast-paced project schedules. Applicants must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future. Successful candidates may be subject to client mandated drug/alcohol testing and background screening; clean driving record.
