  • Additionally designed 34.5 bay addition interconnection.

ECI provided full battery engineering and design to the Babcock Battery Energy Storage Facility. This facility consists of a 10 MW/40 MWh battery energy storage system, with five (5) 2.0 MW blocks of Samsung batteries and inverters housed in Sabre containers containing AC and DC switchgear and distribution. Specifically, ECI provided arrangement, site, civil design, foundations, unit pad-mount transformers, 34.5kV and 480V cable systems and protection and control design, communications, and metering to the battery project. Additionally, ECI designed the 34.5 kV bay addition at the Solar Substation to interconnect the Babcock BESS.
