Electrical Consultants, Inc. assisted Tesoro with the preparation of a proposal to prepare Engineering Services & Design drawings and other documents for a Transformer Replacement Project. The resulting design package provided the necessary guidance for the installation of a new overhead feeder from a spare space in pad-mounted switchgear near PDC‑1 and new switchgear to be installed near the mechanical/welding and I&E shops.

The new switchgear is used to feed a new transformer and include provisions for future growth. Engineering services also included the design of a steel pole and corresponding foundation as well as engineering support during the procurement and construction phases of the project.
