ECI has provided communications and network integration designs for generation systems, which frequently include auto-synchronizing, generation ramping controls, integration of regional Special Protection Systems (SPS) / Remedial Action Schemes (RAS), load sharing/most economical dispatch controls, automatic start systems, frequency & voltage control systems. ECI’s capabilities extend to providing remote monitoring and control of Critical Infrastructure such as power transformer on-line gas monitoring, card-key entry systems, cameras, infrared security detection and even smart systems such as facial recognition.
