Demick Lake 115 kV Loop Transmission Project

McKenzie Electric Cooperative, Inc. (MEC) is a rural Electric Cooperative headquartered in Watford City, North Dakota. MEC provides electric transmission and distribution services to McKenzie County, as well as surrounding counties in both North Dakota and Western Montana.

MEC was planning to build a 16-mile 115 kV transmission line to loop various existing and future substations together. ECI was contracted by MEC to complete acquisition of all Rights of Entry, Landowner Acknowledgements, Easement Acquisition and Restoration Releases. ECI also provided support to the construction crews as needed.

  • Provided Right of Entry documents for survey activities, Landowner Acknowledgements, Easement Acquisition, and Restoration Releases.
  • Also conducted routing contacts to refine line location.
