Electrical Consultants, Inc. assisted Simplot with an engineering services proposal for upgrading of the Don Plant Infrastructure Upgrade. The scope of work involved providing a complete design for the electrical infrastructure upgrade for the project, which included:
- Designing an underground duct bank from the dip poles for feeders on the west side of the property to the substation 450 ft away.
- Designing a 30-foot-tall conduit or cable tray bridge to support overhead feeds from feeders on the south side of the property.
- Continuing the underground duct bank to a transition riser at the southwest corner of granulation.
ECI performed several other similar tasks during the duration of the project.
