ECI was hired to review the PLC logic at the Mechanicville Obermeyer Dam to correct problems with position cycling. 

We will conduct a review the Station Drawings, Operating Manual and PLC Logic. Our evaluation will include recommendations for upgrades that can improve reliability & maintainability.  Based on these results a decision will be made to proceed with upgrading to a new system or attempting to fix problems with the existing system. Our team will optimize the existing code to correct issues with position cycling. Lastly, we will train NYSEG staff in the use of PLC programming software.
