ECI provided an engineering evaluation and inspection report for the Navajo Agricultural Products Industry’s Facility 1 and Facility 2. The Navaho Irrigation Project (NIIP) includes 4 major pump stations and numerous smaller pump sites. This assessment of the electrical system motor also included the associated Motor Control Centers MCC, the incoming switch gear, grounding, cathodic protection, motors and arc flash labeling. ECI’s inspections found that several arch flash labels were missing, there was poor grounding, and several of the control relays and dash pots needed replacing. Additionally, MCCs needed replacement as the control section and breaker section were made with no barrier between them. ECI then provided a facility rehabilitation plan and estimated cost guide.
